Happy Monday! It’s time for a new weekly Tarot forecast!
As you know, here’s how I conduct the reading:
I take the entire deck (this week I’m using the Robin Wood Tarot) and separate it into three piles: the first pile being the cards of the Major Arcana; the second pile being the Court Cards (which I also call the People cards); and the third pile being the remaining Minor Arcana cards.
Then, I pull one card from each pile, which will represent different aspects of the week:
- The card from the Major Arcana, which is the suit that represents the lessons we are learning through the experiences of life, represents the Theme for the week.
- The card from the Court Card pile represents a particular Approach we are encouraged to consider adopting for the week.
- And, the card from the pile of the Minor Arcana, which are the cards that speak to our daily activities of everyday living, represents the Most Likely or Most Probable Outcome—if we adopt the approach suggested by the preceding card.
And, so, the video below showcases this week’s reading:
If you prefer to read the post, here it is:
Here are our cards for this week:
- Theme: The Star
- Approach: Queen of Swords
- Outcome: 6 of Pentacles
For my spiritual seekers, this card is a request to connect yourself to the Cosmic Consciousness. Our lady on the card has one foot in the water and one on land, which is the balance of the spiritual and the physical/material.
For my metaphysical dabblers and practitioners, the Star encourages you to learn and develop skills connected to the spiritual sciences: astrology, numerology, Tarot, Reiki, or some other forms of esoterica and healing.
Whatever your career pursuits (be they metaphysical in nature, or something more conventional), the Star can suggest now is the time to get out there and be noticed! This is a card of visibility and exposure (symbolized by our lady friend being naked), for being recognized and achieving some form of “celebrity status.” This card highlights all aspects of the media. Your star could be on the rise and now is your time to shine!
The Queen of Swords, being the approach we are being encouraged to consider adopting, is asking us to check the words we are speaking. She builds bridges with words and ideas, helping you to communicate more effectively.
Consider the words you are speaking this week. Are you talking positively–or negatively–about your life experiences? She will tell you this truth: The words you use are connected to the thoughts and beliefs you have about yourself and Life itself. The butterflies on the card symbolize the transformation process. In order to transform your life, you first must transform your thinking and speaking.
And speaking of the truth, another aspect of this Queen is getting to the heart–or the truth–of situations and experiences this week. In this process of truth-seeking, she cuts away everything that is not true for her. What is no longer true for you? Are you willing to cut it out of your life this week?
When the 6 of Pentacles is offered to you, spend some time giving of yourself to others. See what people might be needing and how you can meet those needs. Give to yourself as well. This is a card of service.
This might be a good week to make donations, give gifts, give to charitable organizations, and consider volunteering. You might be the one to receive a gift or a bonus. A loan might even be repaid.
When the 6 of Pentacles appears, its message is giving and receiving in balance. There’s a saying that fits this card perfectly: “Give unto others, and it shall be given unto you.”
And that wraps up our reading for this week. I look forward to sharing this space here with you again next week!
Until then…have a Tarot-tastic week!
