My Two Kings

While shuffling the cards for my daily draw this morning, I was thinking about my going to the beach later today with my family.

King of Swords and King of Wands, from the Robin Wood Tarot by Robin Wood.

From the Robin Wood Tarot, I pull two Kings: King of Swords and King of Wands.

I laugh.

For me, King of Swords is Aquarius; my nephew, who is in town, is Aquarius, and will be a part of the outing.

King of Swords can also be someone in the military; my nephew, the Aquarian, is also in the Army.

King of Wands is Leo; my brother, my nephew’s father, is Leo. He’s the one who organized the outing. Like his Tarot counterpart, my brother is also passionate and devoted to his family.

And check out the background of that King of Wands: Looks like he’s having a day at the beach!

It’s stuff like this that blows my mind about my relationship with Tarot…
